Monday 13th October – Quality time with cousin Joseph

Oisin received a big psychological lift with his older cousin, Joseph, who has been visiting for the last couple of days. Oisin and Joseph laughed and played the whole time they were together. We spent the day in nature, around the beautiful Blessington lakes. We threw stones into the water, we went for a refreshing lakeside walk, we had fun listening to an extremely vocal donkey and we ended with coffee and cakes in Russborough House. Sometimes it’s the simple things at your door step, spent with the closest of relationships that make a day very beautiful indeed.

Good night all. Warm hugs, Sheila xxx

    Hi Sheila.

All of your old colleagues at Enable Ireland in Wicklow want to support you, Barry and family in any way we can. We are organising a Fundraising Butterfly Gathering on Killiney beach on Saturday 25th at 3.30. It is a get-together to celebrate loved ones, and have a bit of fun. We are still coming up with ideas but anything butterfly-themed is welcome… Kite flying, face painting, butterfly cakes!! If you and family can come all the better, but if not we will send you on all the proceeds… And of course lots of pics, and love and support too!

  4. Thanks Fi and all at Enable Ireland. I have enjoyed reconnecting with many wonderful old colleagues through your messages to me. You all work so very hard and so very meaningfully with the children and families who attend Enable Ireland. Being on the other side, I know what a difference your hard work makes. Thanks for all of your messages and we appreciate your lovely idea for a fund raising event that will also bring a community together. We can only live each day as it comes. Whether in heart or in person we will be with you. xx
