17 October – Racing around a track and Halloween craft fun with Suzanne

Well every day is Christmas around the Ballymore farm these days. Today was no exception when a parcel of goodies arrived from Helen and Graham – cheers guys! Then another delivery brought balloons – thank you again to the Blackrock Hall mental health team – my wonderful colleagues.

Today Oisin and Cilly went whizzing off around the Mondello Race Track down the road here in Kildare. Thanks for organising Sandra and Kevin xxxx Side skids and hand brake turns were all part of the fun. I think Oisin enjoyed the racing car museum the best and even got a few cheeky pics of himself in the most expensive racing car driven by Jackie Stewart. Colm and baby Roisin popped in to say hello at the end – she’s such a daddy’s girl,  (like Oisin 🙂 )

Oisin and Cilly’s child minder of the last few months, Suzanne and her lovely daughter, Sophia, joined us for an afternoon of spooky halloween make and do. We made spiders and pumpkin candles holders. Was lovely to see the boys with a lady who has been very special to the boys since moving to Blackrock. Thanks for all your hard work, fun loving spirit and high energy, Suzanne xx

We know people have been doing so much behind the scenes and I wish I could thank you all personally. We want to give a very big thank you to all of the staff and friends at Joan’s old school in Ballycane National School, Naas. I hear you raised a very substantial amount of money for Oisin’s fund in your coffee morning.

Good night all xxx

What a great afternoon we had with Sheila, Barry, Oisin and Cillian. Thank you so much for making us so welcome. Was such a special day for us. Thanks Oisin and Cillian for showing us your special hide out behind the trees – think I’ll have to invest in one of them soon!! Sheila and Barry you are such an inspiration to us all and I am just so much in awe at how you are making each day a beauriful memory for Oisin. I am so honored to have gotten to know you all in these last few months, you are such positive, committed and loving parents,
